 Network Coding is a completion project in the Areas of Excellence (AoE) of the UGC, which is recognized internationally for the state-of-the-art technology. nCloud: Software-defined Distributed Storage on “Multiple Clouds” We explore cloud diversity to achieve fault-tolerant storage by striping data redundancy across multiple cloud storage services, so as to provide data availability and durability guarantees in the face of cloud outages.

nEdge stands for network coding at the edge. nEdge — a 5G-compliant technology — is a key enabler of 5G applications. nEdge provides low-delay communication services, low-latency processing, and increased security and privacy for data communication and data storage. Enterprises can integrate nEdge with their private 5G network to leverage the benefits of 5G along with nEdge. 

nCloud Datahub

Platform Products

nCloud datahub is a centralized service that enables enterprises and clients to store, manage, and control their data. As an integration point for multiple users, nCloud datahub enables clients to store their data in a cloud of clouds. Even though the nCloud datahub service is centralized, the underlying data centers are geo-distributed.

nCloud is a cloud-native hyper-converged infrastructure solution, which leverages network coding to realize large-scale cloud-datacenter-storage with storage efficiency, performance, and fault tolerance.

iBackup

Software Services

iBackup connects to the nCloud datahub and provides backup services to an enterprise. Network coding is applied to the data and stored at a remote site. Data diversity, security, and failure protection are hence provided to the stored data.

nLoRa

nLoRa is network-coded long-range communication technology. It belongs to the category of long-range but low-power communications. nLoRa is useful for applications that require long-range communication, high QoS, and low battery consumption.
